If this is your first time renting a dumpster, you may be unsure about the rental process or why you would even need a roll-off container. Typically, any project that requires you to discard a ton of waste could benefit from a roll-off rental. This could be a bathroom remodel, kitchen renovation, estate clean-out, or a contractor project.

What is the Dumpster Rental Process?

We wanted to simplify the dumpster rental process so that all of our customers felt comfortable ordering a rental. And that's what we did! There are 5 main steps to consider when it comes to the rental process:

The first step is to consider whether or not your project needs a roll off bin. Not all projects require a roll-off container, so it's important to consider how much waste you think you'll be discarding. If you know you'll be discarding more waste than you can fit on your curb for pickup, a dumpster is most likely what you need.

Once you have assessed your project, it's time to consider what types of material you'll be placing into your bin, as well as what type of material(s). Lastly, you must pick your weight limit, unless you are ordering a concrete & heavy debris dumpster, which has no weight limits and is flat-rate priced.

This step is important because material contamination, or mixing the wrong materials in the container, can result in contamination fees which are extra charges for improperly disposed of items. Additionally, you want to choose a weight that is most accurate in order to avoid overfilling and weight limit fees.

Once you've got all your logistics sorted out, you can go ahead and order the bin online, or through your preferred contact method. Once you've ordered the container, refer back to the date you chose for delivery and make sure everything is in order. Make sure to keep your phone on you so that you receive the delivery alerts.

Roll-off dumpsters are delivered by roll-off trucks, which are huge. In order to lower the dumpster safely, they need at least 60 feet of space in front of the dumpster drop-off location. Make sure that this area is free from any obstacles or items that would get in the truck's way.

Once you've received your delivery, you are free to start filling it with your trash. There are just a couple of things to keep in mind. First, it's important to evenly load the dumpster for safety reasons. Additionally, don't fill the dumpster over the rim as this makes hauling it unsafe.

When you are done with filling up the dumpster, give us a call and let us know so we can come to get it. Otherwise, we will come on the last day of your 2-week rental period. If you need an extension on the other hand, contact us and we will be happy to give you an extension for a low daily rate.
