In Baltimore County, dumpster rentals are allowed to be placed on private property. Baltimore's Bureau of Solid Waste Management has a variety of regulations that allow residents to safely and effectively recycle various types of hazardous materials. All three Baltimore County drop-off centers accept selected household hazardous waste throughout the year, and the full-service site at the Central Acceptance Facility accepts the widest range of materials. The following listed items are permitted to be recycled at the County's Central Acceptance Facility:

• Household paints (maximum of 20 gallons per visit)

• Household chemicals

• Cooking oil

• Pesticides

• Motor oil, antifreeze, and gasoline

• Mercury thermometers and thermostats

• Fluorescent light bulbs (limit of 10 bulbs per delivery per day)

• Rechargeable batteries

The Central Acceptance Facility can be found at 201 West Warren Road, Cockeysville MD 21030. They are open Monday to Saturday, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. but always check their website for any changes to operating hours. The following listed items are permitted to be recycled at both Eastern Sanitary Landfill and Western Acceptance Facility:

• Motor oil and antifreeze

• Gasoline (at the Eastern Sanitary Landfill only)

• Mercury thermometers and thermostats

• Fluorescent light bulbs (limit of 10 bulbs per delivery per day)

• Rechargeable batteries

The Eastern Sanitary Landfill Facility can be found at 6259 Days Cove Road, White Marsh, MD 21162. They are open Monday to Saturday, 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The Western Acceptance Facility can be found at 3310 Transway Road, Halethorpe, MD 21227. They are also open Monday to Saturday. 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Once you have requested a dumpster using our online ordering form or through phone or email via our quote request form, you will receive your dumpster on the date you requested. We will send an email letting you know when your dumpster is on the way with an estimated time of arrival to help you prepare for the drop-off. If you can't be home during the drop-off, there is no problem at all! Just let us know where you want to drop off the container and make sure the area is clear of debris or obstacles. Once you've received your dumpster, you are all set to start working on your project. If you are done filling up the container before the end of your rental period, let us know and we can schedule an earlier pickup.
